NCC – 1701 Enterprise (WIP)
This is a progress video on a project I am working on. The Starship USS Enterprise NCC – 1701 from the Original Series of Star Trek. This video includes a layout of concept design, test renders, wire frames, reference image examples, and a motion test. This is the completion of the 3D modeling phase done in Maya 2015, composited in NukeX and After Effects. The model has only simple materials and lighting to show and display progress. The next phase will be to do UV’s and texture and light for a scene, this will be done in Maya 2015 and Photoshop. I then plan on adding a Maya Fluid effect on the warp nacelle tips and then use of nParticles for a warp effect animation. Stay tuned for an update on these next phases.
